Alone

Isolated, even in a crowd. You can feel completely alone even in a packed hallway. That feeling is common, it is not your fault, and it can change.

Feeling like you do not fit in anywhere, that no one would notice if you disappeared, or that everyone else has friends but you. Seeing others hang out online can make it sting more.

Why it happens

Friend groups shift constantly in high school, social media makes everyone look more connected than they are, and it is easy to believe you are the only one struggling. You are not.
